Domain Name ServiceDNSCDT is the primary authority for the CA.GOV and STATE.CA.US domains, administering and maintaining the DNS for state and local government entities (e.g., city, county, police or fire department, reclamation, water district, etc.) operating within the State of California. CDT is also the primary authority for several IN-ADDR.ARPA domains, as delegated by the American Registry of Internet Numbers (ARIN).

Fiber Ring ServiceFRSProvides a managed network service that is a component of the California Government Enterprise Network (CGEN). The FRS connects a Downtown Fiber Ring with both CDT Data Centers. CDT manages the network infrastructure supporting the FRS.

IBM HTTP Server (IHS) for WASIHS WASIBM HTTP Server (IHS) is a full-featured web/HTTP server that is included with WebSphere Application Server.
IHS is based on the Apache HTTP Server. In a WAS environment, IHS is the first tier in a three-tier architecture which manages client connections to WAS. IHS in conjunction with the plugin provides WAS with additional security, load balancing between multiple application servers in a clustered WAS ND installation and static content delivery.
IBM Security Access ManagerISAMIBM Security Access Manager (ISAM, formerly Tivoli Access Manager) is a suite of IBM middleware components that provides web portal protection using Identity Management. ISAM provides an authentication and authorization solution while acting as a reverse proxy web server. This is IBM’s end-to-end single sign-on policy-based security solution for e-business.
IBM Security Directory ServerIBM Security Directory Server is a directory service using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) as its client-server protocol. IBM Security Directory server is the default directory server for IBM's Security Access Manager and Security Identity Manager middleware suites, but can also be deployed for standalone directory instances. LDAP is recognized as an industry standard for directory information.
IBM Security Identity ManagerISIMIBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM, formerly Tivoli Identity Manager) is an IBM middleware solution to centralize the management of user credentials within an organization. ISIM provides the ability to automatically create and manage user access across various systems (AD, RACF, AIX, LDAP, etc.) based on job roles or requests.
IBM Tivoli Access Manager Authorization ServerThe authorization server offloads access control and authorization decisions from the policy server. It maintains a replica of the authorization policy database and functions as the authorization decision-making evaluator. A separate authorization server also provides access to the authorization service for third-party applications that use the Tivoli Access Manager authorization API in remote cache mode.
IBM Tivoli Access Manager Policy ServerTAMThe Tivoli Access Manager policy server, referred to in previous versions as the management server, maintains the master authorization database for the secure domain. This server is key to the processing of access control, authentication, and authorization requests. It also updates authorization database replicas and maintains location information about other Tivoli Access Manager servers in the secure domain.
IBM Tivoli Access Manager WebSEAL ServerWebSEALIBM Tivoli Access Manager WebSEAL is a high performance, multi-threaded Web server that applies fine-grained security policy to the Tivoli Access Manager protected Web object space. WebSEAL can provide single sign-on solutions and incorporate back-end Web application server resources into its security policy.

IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)WASOffers an enterprise-class Java-based application server.
WAS provides customers a flexible, reliable Java runtime environment that is able to run on various platforms (Windows, AIX, Linux, Solaris and z/OS). WAS is currently supported in two formats by OTech, WAS Base, a single application server and WAS ND, a clustered installation of multiple application servers. In addition to Java, WebSphere supports open standard interfaces such as the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC). WAS is the second tier in a three-tier environment.
IBM WebSphere MQMQIBM MQ is a network software product. MQ is a messaging middleware that simplifies integration of diverse applications and business data across multiple platforms. MQ facilitates the assured, secure and reliable exchange of information between applications, systems, services, and files by sending and receiving message data via messaging queues.
Infrastructure as a ServiceIaaSProvides customers with a private cloud located at the CDT data centers. Network and TelecommunicationsLeverages carrier-managed solutions to provide statewide network access and to deliver network traffic to CDT Customer headquarters sites, CDT hosting facilities, the Internet, other state agencies and departments, California counties, and external business partners. The network access equipment is owned by a CALNET vendors (AT&T or Verizon).
