New CALNET NextGen Contract Awards Notification 23-03 (PDF)

The California Department of Technology is pleased to announce additional CALNET NextGen Data Networks and Communications Services contract awards in Categories 22 and 30. These new contract awards are the result of the CALNET NextGen Elected Open Period.

CALNET 3 CONTRACT EXPIRATION-Notification 23-02 (PDF)

All CALNET 3 contracts will expire on December 31, 2023. The California Department of Technology urges all CALNET 3 customers to transition their services to CALNET NextGen contracts as soon as possible.

AT&T CALNET [DNCS] Customers

This notification is for informational purposes only.

CALNET is relaying the following message from AT&T regarding known delays affecting reporting and Service Level Agreement (SLA) credits:

“This notification applies to [AT&T] clients who have opened service performance tickets that require SLA rights and remedies. Due to system upgrades, AT&T will delay processing some client SLA credits. Due to this impact, AT&T will track and facilitate all credits, with interest, no later than 04/2024. We appreciate your patience during this time.”

The California Department of Technology is pleased to announce the award of CALNET NextGen Data Networks and Communications Services (DNCS) – Group 2 contracts for Categories 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, and 30. The term of the contract is 5 years, with three one-year optional extensions.

CALNET vendors are preparing their Service Catalogs and links will be provided on the CALNET Website in the coming weeks.
