Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Relay
SMTP Relay provides Customers the ability to send outbound email from devices (such as printers or servers) or applications.
Features

- Maximum 30 MB message
- Allows emails coming from your chosen IP address to go through without authentication
Role Responsibility
Service support - Deploy approved applications to client’s Virtual Desktop environment. All applications will go through a certification process CDT
End-user support - Provide end-user support for the SMTP RELAY running on CDT systems.
Note: This does not include the support of end-user’s end-point device, LAN or WAN connections
CDT
Security monitoring - Monitor the SMTP service infrastructure. CDT
Security monitoring - Notify the customer, isolate and remediate any detected security threats. CDT
Update monitoring and management - Monitor customer SMTP Relay to ensure the infrastructure is always updated according to CDT security policies CDT
Identity management - Create service accounts CDT
Change management - Notify customers, in advance, when changes need to be made to their SMTP Relay environment. CDT
Change management - Maintain a change management process and provide a central point of contact to the CDT SMTP Relay support team. Customer
End-user support - Support on-site infrastructure: for all network and internet connectivity, client device configuration, peripheral devices, proxy server, firewalls and WAN connectivity. Customer
End-user support - Support line-of-business applications: custom software, 3rd-party software, design tools, and anything not specified in this document Customer
Security monitoring and response - Provide a list of contacts to CDT in the event that a security incident is detected that is outside the scope of the SMTP Relay scope. Customer
Security monitoring and response - Notify CDT of potential impacts of any non-SMTP Relay security incidents that may impact the service (example: Local Virus or DDOS attack). Customer
LAN network infrastructure - Setup, configuration and management (including troubleshooting and debugging) of all networking-related infrastructure and services, including internet connectivity, network controls, proxy configuration and remote connectivity infrastructure. Customer
The rate schedule represents standard CDT services. If a Customer requires technology solutions that are not part of the standard, CDT will review the Customer’s request and provide customized pricing as necessary.
