What is the difference between Tenant Managed Services Basic and Premium Model?
Both models are a type of co-location service, where customers host equipment at the CDT Data Center. The Premium model offers an additional layer of service.
In the TMS Basic environment, Customers have full control of their environment and must provide their own network connectivity and security (including routers, firewalls, Intrusion Protection System, etc.).
With the TMS Premium model, CDT manages the network and SAN Fabric that is shared amongst all customers within the TMS Premium environment. Customers utilize CDT owned and managed network equipment, which includes switches, firewalls, routers, and IPS. Customers are given a firewall security context in order to control all rule sets, logging, and authentication to their specific environment.
