SIMM 15 – IT Project Cost Delegations (IT PCD)
BACKGROUND:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) defined processes and procedures to determine the IT Project Cost Delegation to increase autonomy and promote high quality and successful IT projects. Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM) Section 15 includes a process whereby Agency/state entities can complete the Project Cost Delegation assessment if they would like to request a change to their current Project Cost Delegation. Each Agency/state entity is designated by the CDT a minimum total project development cost delegation based on the completion of the Project Cost Delegation Accreditation.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Procedures/Standards update is to announce:
- Minor format and content updates were made to SIMM 15A, Project Cost Delegation Instructions:
- Outdated footnote regarding delegations was removed
