What we do

See our work in action

How we re-imagined disaster relief for LA wildfire survivors

When wildfires devastated Los Angeles communities, survivors faced a daunting challenge: navigating dozens of disconnected government forms just to access the help they desperately needed.

How the Office of Critical Services and U.S. Digital Response envisioned a better path forward

We audited 22 forms across eight agencies and analyzed over 1,000 data fields to develop a north star vision: a unified benefits application form built around just 55 core fields./

Our proposed model reduces redundancy and enables faster identity verification, while our Disaster Portal concept maps out secure data exchanges between agencies—all designed with privacy, accessibility, and trauma-informed principles at the core.

How transformation begins

When your agency needs a clear vision for modernizing fragmented processes and leveraging IT to support your mission, we can help chart that path.

We help advance the mission of state entities

Our vision is a state where essential government services are never at risk of failure. From legacy modernization to digital transformation, California’s most critical systems are ready to scale, recover, and adapt, no matter the challenge ahead.

Working together, we:

  • Streamline interactions: improving process flow.
  • Accelerate delivery: identifying modern practices which reduce time for system updates and deployment cycles.
  • Enable responsiveness: implementing modern architecture and infrastructure, resulting in improved ability to respond to policy changes.
  • Elevate operations: providing tools that support staff to work more effectively.
  • Automate processes: using technology to enable agencies to perform more efficiently.
  • Mitigate risk: reducing the opportunities for and costs of bad players impacting agency
    mission.
  • Promote reuse: building new technology solutions specifically in service of new or pre-existing partnerships solving for similar use cases or needs.
  • Leverage services: focusing on the adoption of pre-existing solutions to minimize the recreation of shared operational and technological building blocks.
