Overview
The California Department of Technology (CDT) is announcing rate adjustments for Fiscal Year 2023-2024. These adjustments were approved by the Department of Finance (DOF) on June 20, 2023 to recover associated service costs.
Overview
Effective August 1, 2023, rates for the following services will increase:

- Mainframe CPU
- IT Project Approvals and Oversight
- California Project Management Office
- Statewide Technology Procurement
- CA Statewide Innovation & State Web Portal
- CA Web Publishing
- Training and Education Center
- Professional Services
- CDT Cost Distribution

Rates for the following new service will take effect August 1, 2023:
User Experience (UX) Consulting: CDT will provide UX consulting services to assist state entities with improving website usability and optimizing user experience through appropriate UX processes, methods, and tools. This service will be billed hourly at the established User Experience Consulting rate.
