The Office of Professional Development (OPD) has created a comprehensive Training Guide to assist departments and agencies statewide with the planning, delivery, and assessment of their own unique training programs. Using a comprehensive “how-to” approach, the Guide incorporates our strategies, lessons learned, and advice aimed at assisting those tasked with developing a training program from the ground up. Our document also includes templates and samples which illustrate our best practices that can be leveraged by other departments, if desired. Check back regularly for updates and new resources.
