TA 24-02: FY 24-25 Rate Adjustments

Overview:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) is announcing rate adjustments for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. These adjustments were approved by the Department of Finance (DOF) on April 22, 2024, to recover associated service costs.
Rate Changes:
Effective July 1, 2024, rates for the following services will increase:
- CDT Services – General Salary Increase (GSI) Rates Adjustments
- Mainframe CPU
- Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI)
- Dedicated Internet Hosting Service
- Shared Internet Hosting
- Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Relay
- Windows Server
- Oracle Database Support
- SQL Server
- Midrange DB2 Support
- Linux Server
- Electronic Commerce Services
- Unix Solaris Server
- California Managed Cloud (CAMC)
- California Government Enterprise Network (CGEN) Infrastructure
- Remote Access and Site-to-Site Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- Shared Firewall – Extranet
- Server Load Balancing and Enhanced Server Application Delivery Service
- Statewide Technology Procurement (STP)
Rates for the following new service will take effect July 1, 2024:
Unmanaged Cloud Services (UCS): UCS IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) is an on-premises cloud service located behind the CDT-managed network and firewall infrastructure at its Tier 3 Rancho Cordova data center. Customers can create virtual machines (VMs) that are unmanaged with an unlicensed operating system (OS). UCS IaaS is a subscription-based service with no minimum commitment.
Impacted:
All CDT customers subscribing to the above services.
