TA 23-06: Sunsetting CalCloud

Action Requested: Migrate off CalCloud Service
Effective Date: December 31, 2023
Overview
As of December 31, 2023, the California Department of Technology (CDT) is sunsetting its CalCloud service and replacing it with other standard and secure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform offerings to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
Action Requested
Customers currently utilizing the CalCloud service must contact their CDT Account Lead by July 10, 2023 to begin coordinating discussions with the CalCloud team about migrating to one of the following alternative solutions:

- Migrate to a CDT-Managed Service:

- Migrate to a Vendor-Hosted Subscription Service (VHSS):

Once customers choose a solution, they will be directed to submit the appropriate service request.
